O.k., the blueish aliens look very much like Tyranids to me, and the gun also looks suspiciously like a Bolt pistol, but hey, who am I to judge
No seriously, I really wish for this comic to be successful, the style of drawing is just too cute for words
Ok you offically caught my interest here.
Still, theres a few quirks. First off, while the auto pistol (I think it is anyway) is definitely something a dwarf would make and use, it just reminds me of the bolt guns of space marines fame. Second, the aliens almost seem kinda cookie cutter and thanks the colors do seem heavily inspired by another piece of 40k mythos the tyranids. Last, I expected more aliens to kill. Can write that off to your poor wrist if you had try and show ALL the buggers trying to kill them though.
I can forgive though. Most of dark/serious sci-fi can draw some similarity from Warhammer 40,000. It’s just a given since the game defined so much of it in terms of design and vibes. All I can say is strive for originality and for the love of the gods please let them shoot an elf sometime!
Yeah. Elves are stupid. Definitely NEED to shoot some of them, please.
