Some in advance fireworks for the new year!
I’ll skip all the new year formalities and just promise
we’ll be going full steam ahead in the new year.
We’re only getting started actually…
Great comics! I like the attention to detail: love those lurkers in the background, also the pipes give a good sense of depth.
A someone wrote, facial expression could be improved, I thought he would have a wide grin on his face after the previous panel, that’s also what the laugh suggests… But it’s not such an important thing, this could also be one of those villainous laughs – if so, the expression fits.
Anyway, great to hear you are full of enthusiasm and I’m eagerly waiting for the coming story developments! Also, have a Happy New Year!
I imagine him having one of my evil genius laughs here. I scare small children with my laugh, I got the build up to a great art. The trick is starting small, a chuckle then a laugh, then a full blown uproar. It’s the transition that makes for the creepy factor.
Artwise you do GOOD. Needs no words for it is pure action at its finest. Nothing beats a good flame roast of unknown terrors. And I love the title. Now all we needs a dwarven fatality move! I almost wish this was animated. The reason I don’t is because we’d be waiting months or even years for each installment otherwise. Seriously you’re chugging along in expression. Or little mad dwarf’s face is perfect, not a skullgrin like I wanted but damn good. He’s obviously enjoying himself. You’re obviously getting the comic’s look nailed down now. I’ve seen some authors take a full year for that. Of course they started at mediocre skill levels while you’re much closer to professional. Also that is some DAMN good fire effects. Though are they flammable, and more importantly…
Do they taste like chicken?
Hmm. this is a random thought but Teb, if you could make a wishlist for an animated movie for this comic, who would be on your voice actor list? I kinda think Vin Desil (or however the fark you spell his last name) would probably fit Lokhar.
P.S. if this is just the start. Imagine what the hell they’ll do at the end of the series folks! (I place my bet on causing a star to go supernova)
Seems “a bit” premature to be thinking about this but fun nonetheless!
BB voice actor wish list:
Thekki – Gerard Butler (loved his Viking voice in How to tame a dragon)
Brokk – John Goodman (jovial but strong voice)
Lokhar – Vin Diesel (good choice)
Stromni – Anthony Hopkins?
Hargrima – Gina Torres (warrior woman Zoe in firefly)
Valya – Michelle Rodriguez?
Rungnir – Jack Black

PS A Google +1 button maybe?
